A Certified RV Technician Who Comes To Your Rig

The RV Medic is a mobile RV maintenance and repair service run by Jon Whitaker, an RVTI certified RV maintenance technician. Instead of towing a broken rig across town, you keep it where it sits and I bring the tools, the training, and the parts to it.

The work covers emergency repairs at your campsite or driveway and the annual maintenance that keeps a rig healthy: winterizing, de winterizing, roof and seal inspections, appliance checks, and full written inspection reports.

RV specific upgrades are part of the service too, including air purifiers, solar systems, and power distribution work. As partnerships with manufacturers come online, that upgrade list will keep growing.

What RV Owners Say

Sample reviews shown while real customer feedback is collected.

Our water heater quit two days into a trip. He drove out to the campground, found the failed element, and had hot water back that afternoon. We never had to move the trailer.

Dana M.

RV Owner

Had him winterize our fifth wheel in the driveway. Thorough, explained every step, and sent photos of the seals he wanted us to watch next season.

Ray K.

Fifth Wheel Owner

He installed our solar and rewired the distribution panel. Clean work, labeled every circuit, and the system has been rock solid since.

Michelle T.

Full Time RVer

Booked an annual inspection before a long trip. He caught a soft spot in the roof seal that would have turned into real water damage. Worth every dollar.

Answers Before You Book

Still unsure about something? Call and ask. I would rather answer the question than have you guess.

Yes. Everything I do is mobile. I service your RV at your campsite, storage lot, or driveway so you do not have to tow or drive a broken rig anywhere.

There is a $150 service call fee for anything within 50 miles, then $150 per hour of labor with a one hour minimum. Beyond 50 miles, mileage is added at $2 per mile. Parts are billed separately and quoted before they are ordered.

Yes. I am an RVTI certified RV maintenance technician, which means the work follows industry standard procedures rather than guesswork picked up on the job.

Travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes, and toy haulers. If a repair truly needs a full service shop or a warranty dealer, I will tell you straight instead of learning on your rig.

Emergency calls are a core part of what I do. Call and describe what happened. If it is something I can fix on site, I will get to you as soon as the schedule allows.

Yes. Air purifiers, solar systems, and power distribution upgrades are all installs I take on, sized and wired to match how you actually use the rig.
